ROOT, CREATE & RISE — AN EQUINOX DAY RETREAT

By registering for Root, Create & Rise, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before completing your registration.

1. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Spots are limited to 25 participants and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Submitting a registration form without completed payment does not guarantee your spot.
All prices are listed in USD. Payment is processed securely at the time of registration.

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
We understand that life happens. The following policy applies to all cancellations:
• Full refund: Cancellations received on or before August 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
• 50% refund: Cancellations received between August 21, 2026 and September 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET will receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid.
• No refund: Cancellations received after September 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET are not eligible for a refund of any amount.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to megan@meganhively.com. Cancellations are not considered received until confirmed in writing by Empowered Wisdom Circle.

3. SPOT TRANSFERS
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another participant at no additional charge. Transfers must be requested in writing to megan@meganhively.com no later than September 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Please include the full name and contact information of the person accepting your spot. Empowered Wisdom Circle reserves the right to approve all transfers.

4. CANCELLATION BY EMPOWERED WISDOM CIRCLE
In the unlikely event that Empowered Wisdom Circle must cancel the retreat due to circumstances beyond our control — including but not limited to severe weather, venue unavailability, or emergency — all registered participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid. Empowered Wisdom Circle is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodations, or other personal expenses.
We will notify all registered participants as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation.

5. HEALTH, WELLNESS & LIABILITY WAIVER
Root, Create & Rise includes movement-based activities including yoga, breathwork, and somatic practices. By registering, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
• You are voluntarily participating in all retreat activities and assume full responsibility for your own physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the event.
• You confirm that you are in adequate physical and mental health to participate. If you have any medical conditions, physical limitations, or concerns, you agree to consult with a qualified healthcare provider prior to attending and to inform retreat facilitators of any relevant conditions upon arrival.
• You understand that yoga, movement, and wellness practices carry an inherent risk of physical injury. Empowered Wisdom Circle, its organizers, facilitators, and venue partners are not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damage sustained during or as a result of participation in the retreat.
• You agree to listen to your body throughout the day, honor your own limits, and communicate any concerns to a facilitator at any time.
• Participants with known medical conditions, recent injuries, or pregnancy are encouraged to notify organizers in advance so that appropriate modifications can be offered.
Empowered Wisdom Circle and its facilitators are not licensed medical or mental health professionals. Nothing presented during the retreat constitutes medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. All content is offered for educational and experiential purposes only.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT
Empowered Wisdom Circle may capture photos and/or video during Root, Create & Rise for use in future marketing materials, social media, and promotional content.
By registering, you grant Empowered Wisdom Circle permission to photograph and/or record you during the retreat and to use such images or footage for promotional purposes without compensation.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify a member of our team at the beginning of the event. We will do our best to honor your preference throughout the day. Opting out of photography will not affect your participation in any retreat activities.

7. CONDUCT & COMMUNITY AGREEMENT
Root, Create & Rise is a sacred, inclusive space for all women. We ask that all participants honor the following:
• Treat all participants, facilitators, and venue staff with kindness and respect.
• Honor the confidentiality of personal sharing that occurs within the circle. What is shared in the space stays in the space.
• Arrive on time and silence all devices during programming.
• Engage with all activities in the spirit of openness and personal responsibility.
Empowered Wisdom Circle reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful to others. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

8. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE
By completing your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this document. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in Root, Create & Rise and release Empowered Wisdom Circle, its organizers, facilitators, partners, and venue from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your participation.
